From Biology to Business
Hi! I’m Alessandra Coutinho, co-founder of Royal Glow Cleaning.
Before building our eco-friendly cleaning company in the San Francisco Bay Area, I spent nearly 20 years teaching.
I taught Biology, Science, and Mathematics in Brazil.
As a biologist and marine life enthusiast, I’ve always been passionate about sustainability.
Creating healthier environments has always been my goal.
That same passion inspired the birth of Royal Glow — a company designed to unite cleanliness, health, and environmental care in one royal experience.
Diego’s Background and Vision
My husband, Diego Coutinho, brings a technical and structural perspective to the business.
Originally from João Pessoa, Paraíba, Diego studied Civil Engineering and worked as a real estate agent before we embraced entrepreneurship together.
His experience in property management and his keen attention to detail help us ensure that every home we clean is treated with precision and care.
Moreover, his analytical mindset complements my scientific approach perfectly — making Royal Glow both efficient and thoughtful.

Together, we saw an opportunity to redefine cleaning services.
Furthermore, we wanted to build a company that cares as much about people and the planet as it does about sparkling results.
